The New England Lighthouse is a replica of a lighthouse you would see in New England.  It is a kit made by Real Good Toys that was assembled, finished and decorated as a Christmas Gift for a family member.  When completed, this lighthouse is quite tall (43") and very majestic looking.  The working light makes this lighthouse functional as a nightlight.

Building the New England Lighthouse was extremely fun and interesting since it is different then building regular houses.  If you are considering building this lighthouse, be forewarned that it is challenging, but the results are well worth it. You can view our guidelines on building the New England Lighthouse in our tutorial section that you may find interesting and helpful.

As you can see from the pictures, we furnished the lighthouse with everything you would expect to find in a traditional lighthouse, including the Lighthouse Keeper.  The raincoat that the Lighthouse Keeper is wearing was handmade from a household rubber glove.  You can view the tutorial here.
